| Homes4NC was established to promote safe, decent and affordable housing
for all North Carolinians.
We do this by
raising funds, and in
conjunction with local REALTOR® associations, making
matching grants
to nonprofit and public agencies that help low- to moderate-income families with
their housing needs. We also provide
disaster relief and educational programs that enhance housing opportunities.
Since our inception in 2004, we have made
grants totaling more than $139,000 to housing organizations across the state.
When you consider that these grants were matched by local REALTOR®
associations, North Carolina REALTORS® have contributed
nearly $300,000 to housing organizations in just the last four years.
How it Works
To be eligible
for funding, organizations must be based in North Carolina with a 501(c)(3) status or be a public agency.
The purpose of the grant must be congruent
with our mission, which is to provide safe, decent and affordable housing
(both permanent and temporary), to provide emergency housing assistance and
to provide education on housing issues. |

Grants from Homes4NC and the Neuse River Region Association of REALTORS
helped support this community-wide project. |
